え、騎馬戦の前に大将同士が出てきて果たし状読み上げたりしないの？
うちの小学校、男は武士風に兜かぶって登場、女はこんなかんじだったぞ。

大将「お久しぶりですわ、×組のみなさん。（略）
昨年の雪辱を胸に、雨の日も風の日も、日々鍛錬して参りました。
今のわたくし達に適う者などございません。皆さま！」←（果たし状を投げ捨てる）
大将「行きますわよー！」
後ろ「よろしくてよー！」

無駄な努力でしたわね。

別の地域の子に話したら爆笑された。
他、今日ばかりは真剣勝負でしてよ、とか
お互いに美しく戦いましょうとかバリエーションだけは豊かだ。
